A striking figurative piece capturing a single, silent moment of duty: one soldier passing the American flag into the hands of another. Rendered in bold, heavy-body acrylics and built up with expressive palette knife work, the piece uses rich purple tones and dramatic silhouettes to turn a simple gesture into something solemn and larger than life, honoring the weight of responsibility carried from one generation of service to the next.
This contemporary military painting is a 1-of-1 original, completed in 2026 on a 24" x 36" canvas.
